Privacy Policy

Forva is built around a simple promise: your files never leave your device. This policy explains what that means and the limited, anonymous analytics we use to improve the app.

Your files

All file processing — conversion, compression, scanning, OCR, signing, watermarking and metadata removal — happens entirely on your iPhone. Your files, their contents and their names are never uploaded, transmitted, stored or accessible to us or anyone else. We operate no servers that receive your files. Forva works even in airplane mode.

Information we collect

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it. This may include:

Anonymous usage events (for example, that a conversion or tool was completed, and the file-format type such as "heic" or "pdf")
General device information (device model, iOS version, language, region)
A random, resettable identifier and standard app engagement metrics

This data is not linked to your identity and never includes your files, file contents or file names. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or any personal information within the app.

How we use it

Solely to understand which features are used and to fix problems and improve Forva. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.

Data retention & your choices

Analytics data is retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention settings. You can limit ad/analytics tracking system-wide in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Analytics & Improvements.

Children's privacy

Forva is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Third-party services

Forva uses Google Firebase Analytics. Its handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
